Krylon paint Dark Gray?
Afternoon chaps,
I'm wondering if anyone knows where I could get some Dark Gray Krylon paint?
I've looked around and have been unable to find anything. I'm after some for a Urban Camo paint job I'm wanting to do on my M14 stock.
I already have some black and white paint, just need some dark gray now and I can get started.
Cheers, Steve

That's going to be a bugger mate because if no shops have got them in anywhere you ain't going to get any as it is discontinued

Re: Krylon paint Dark Gray?
You could try typing grey rather than gray into google - that might help your search

Re: Krylon paint Dark Gray?
Nope it won't It is definitely discontinued. Says so on their own website so the onlystocks that will be in are going to be shops that still have a little bit left.

I believe Krylon grey primer is still available.
That may work for you.

Re: Krylon paint Dark Gray?
I was going to suggest that Rockin lol. But I think it is a shade or 2 lighter than dark Grey.
The other alternative is that scottish site has Light grey and black. If you either have a spray gun or airbrush (spray gun recommended) then decant the balck with the white and use the spray gun for your job.
It can be done as i have done it for my large scale rc ships. Airbrushing took and age on a 72 inch battleship so my next project, a 82" Type XXI German sub, was done that way and it works well. Set the gunt to about 30psi and it will be fine.

Re: Krylon paint Dark Gray?
It isnt quite as good Vlad. I have used it on my RC models extensively and it doesn "etch" the plastic as well as the Krylon. The halfords primer is also lighter than dark grey, more a light sea grey and I find plastikote doesn't cover as well either. I find it tends to peel off quite easily.

Light grey Krylon is in stock in maybe the most northerly based airsoft retailer in the UK

Re: Krylon paint Dark Gray?
Thanks for all the replies guys,
Just going to grab some of that light gray.
Light Gray is better than no Gray!
@Airsofter2010 - Thats the first thing I did, wouldnt ask unless I had allready looked high and low.
@Casey - The Krylon Camofage/Fusion range are what I would reccomend, seems to be the best around!.
Thanks again guys!
Steve

Re: Krylon paint Dark Gray?
Well the Scottish site has Brown and khaki but no green left grab what yuo can while you can but you could try the site of wolves and a support type site they both have limitied amounts of them including Olive which is probably as close to the green as you will get. There is a full range of fusion paints but it seems only 4 of them are Camo paints.

Just wondering if a few cans of the "Humbrol Matt Tank Grey" (No. 67) would work for you:
