lol

I have a couple...

My Selector plate came loose on my AK and i charge a man on safe.. needless to say i realised straight away just stood there and took the pasting whilst laughing histerically over my issue

I'v gone to use my 203 on a room ( after popping my head around a doorway ) and i put the beebs in but not enough gas.. the dribbled out the end after what sounded like a fart! got shot a few times then... ( after being laughed at )

obviously my M4 has locked up at the worst of times...

we was sneaking down a tunnel ( there was about 40 of us on either side ) and we was creeping up on the enemy with a marshal who said " i'll let you all sneak up but the moment one of you makes a noise i'm throwing the thermos letting them know of your wearabouts..

two minutes later. "Shh shh get down i see them they dont see us!" i crouch and of course my newly full hicap fulls out my rifle and explodes on the floor... breaking the silence.. next thing you know... UHHHHHHHH CHANDLER YOU TWIT!!!! BANG BANG!!!!

FAIL

A mate whilst playing was stood shooting next to me.. next thing

"what the fu..."

his AGM M4 GBB just broke into two.. was hilarious he had the front end in one hand and the other half in the other!!!! hahaha

Had the electrics short in a 249 mid fire fight and out numbered. I just took a hit and went on a long walk, thankfuly the owner of the 249 is an electrical wizzard and come the next day it was alive. Aparently it likes doing that at realy inconviniant times.

Playing at Dorkings, after my gun was chrono'd, a fairly small bloke (around 5'6) drew out his sigg p226, only to find he was missing his slide of his beloved p226, he threw a great wobbly, cursing and swearing were his highlights of the week, infact he was so angry I'm pretty sure he turned green soon afterwards! (Nah, only kiddin' )
In a way, I'd feel sorry for him, but he had a go at me saying 'Surely you're telling me you didn't see or hear a p226 slide fall!? You were walking up with me!' - I told him, first of all I don't have a p226, second I don't know what a p226 slide sounds like when it hits the ground! Geez...

A team-members HK416 wiring started playing up mid-game...

- 'there's smoke coming from your gun mate'
reply - 'there's what?...oh....'

Gun wiring on fire, disaster, expensive repair bill....ouch

My old VSR10, running at just shy of 500FPS, ran sweet as a nut, until one day, lined up on another sniper, pulled the trigger and an almighty not very VSR10ish sound happened, I checked the gun out only to find it had tried throwing its piston head down the barrel in a million and one bits, also wrote the spring off too as it snapped. Bummer.

Seen a lad a while ago had managed to lose the slide on his HiCapa5.1 mid skirmish, he never found it, baffeling bit was, the slide lockback and pin was still in, so in theory impossible to remove the slide???!!!

This isnt so much airsoft and more real steel. Got to have a shoot with a fair few weapons one day and one of them was a Berreta 92F, all dandy mes thinks, after the 4th round I heard a kerchink and off the slide popped straight in to the sea (I was on a flight deck of a warship at the time), the staff sergeant Royal Marine had a real sense of humour failure for about 5 seconds and then started wetting himself with laughter.

Back when i had my JG M4 I had a bit of an odd incident with it. Was holding a point during a game and poked my head up to fire back, when the entire front end just fell off! Had to wait for the fire to die down so I could leg it round and grab the half of my gun that came off... never understood what happened and it never even had a wobble in the front end after that game

I do actually remember another incident...

It involved somebody taking a hit from a screw or something internal which shouldnt of really been seen flying out of the barrel.

I was with my 2 younger Bros when the younger (and stupider if I am being honest) pulled the front end off my M4, so we walked back to the safe zone, me berating him all the way, and managed to fix it (the delta rig had work loose some how, my guess is the little tw*t had been fiddling with it during the briefing). He is now on remedial weapons handling until he learns how to not mess with stuff that; A isn't his and B he doesn't know how it works. That will teach me to take a 14 year old airsofting.

before a cqb game i was having a look at someone's m4, and after looking through the rds, i turned it off. conserve battery and all that.
we get into the game, and he's on the opposite team. within a minute i see him walking down a passageway, looking down at his gun, so i shot him. he later said 'someone had turned my rds off!?'
oops.

i've also had many m203 and grenade malfunctions, but the best was someone elses.

i'm taking cover behind a corner, shooting at someone behind a car. she throws a grenade, and although it doesn't come around my cover, it lands perfectly on the other side, keeping me from popping out again. i wait, and nothing happens. basically i have an unexploded bomb waiting for me to become curious and stick my head out. i wait further, and still nothing happens. i poke my gun around the corner and shoot it, and still nothing. so i pick the thing up and throw it back, and it kills the girl who threw it! legend!

Yes, but he was one of those people, 'selective deafness' I think they're called, completely unaware and pretty much ignore anything ( I happen to know this, I have a brother who has this, have to call or hit him a few times to get his attention ) . I did hear a sudden 'thud but I ignored it and carried on, I wouldn't think it would be his slide from his Sig, but him having a go at me reminded me quite a while ago...Oh well, I said to myself 'stuff you then'

picture the sceen

its pitch black, were at the asylum at kinderminister and were having a little warm up watch before things the next day. its pistols only and were dug in hiding in the shadows using the buildings as cover. my mate see something moving so takes a shot with his metal glock.

unfortunatly the top slide goes flying off the front end clatters down ontop of the metal bin cover and then hits the ground making an awfull ammount of noise. at this point i start to laugh hysterically so much so that i cant even hold my pistol and the 3 op for got the easiest surrender kill ever. i didnt hear him when he cocked his weapon right above my head, he had to put the mag on to my head to make me realise how dead i was.

there was also the occasion when we hear screemed over the marshall net "fire, fire, fire" as a thermo goes off having been thrown into a elephant grass bush. (not intentially) it went up surprisingly quickly.

"You smell burning"

"yep"

"OH S@$%"

"what?"

"YOUR ASS IS ON FIRE"

"F&!£"

*BANG*

We quickly found out a pryo had gone off in his drup pouch and he had a nice hop in his pouch and trousers.

lol, not really a gun malfunction in game, we never got to skirmish it..

my brothers new scar ( GBB WE ) we took it to chrono.. 411fps.. ok.. so after about an hour we finally found how to adjust the valve (its co2) turned it the wrong way.. 550fps.. ouch! then one of the marshals went i got to have a go like that.. put a few shots off.. said the blowback felt like a real gun lol..
turned it down the other way... bit more.. bit more.. got it to 290.. then we was going to randomly chrono it throughout the day and see how it goes, and if it dont change much we were gonna knock it up to 340-350 ..

so.. we finally get onto the skirmish field.. he clicks the button.. pffttt.. nothing.. the firing pin is coming back far enough now.. so he takes the whole thing apart for about another hour.. finally gets it back together.. i walk in and he says just try that.. i put the stock on.. fire off a shot.. and!!!! the stock hing plate snaps off..

frigging brilliant.. he just looked at me in disapproval, picks up his £40 AEG ak47 and walks out onto the skirmish field.. tells me this is his last game and hes going to throw all his kit away lol..
he had an amazing day, the best gun he had ever used! now hes got his SCAR working and in the market for a SIG552 or w.e ( ICS ) brand new, something with warranty!!!

I've got a couple of stupid moves in my airsoft history!

First off i ran into a bunker all on my own flanking a 20 strong opposing force popped round the corner pulled the trigger on my m4 and no bb's came out. Forgot to put the mag in!

But properly the best was when i was walking up to the enemy with my m60 attached to a big battery on my back. The battery somehow shorted and caught fire me not realising until my mate shouts, "your on fire" i roll on the floor trying to put my self out as the enemy are shooting me. That was a painful time.

The last time i went skirmishing i was borrowing someone elses M4 as mine was being repaired, he'd explained to be the front was a bit loose so not wanting anything to happen i was holding it as much as possible. During a firefight, in which my team was severely outnumbered i was shooting as many as possible, suddenly heard bb's zoom past me from my right so i spun to look down the hill to my right and during this motion the front end of the gun including foregrip and outer barrel just slid straight off the gun and flew down the hill.

I've also had it plenty of times when mid firefight, go into cover to change mags, come out of cover to fire back and then the new mag just drops out of the gun onto the floor as i've obviously not pushed it in until it clicked lol

I was on delta, patrolling along the path just outside the village, a young bravo jumped out from the bushes ahead, didnt see us, I dropped to my knee, aimed my m14 up, squeezed the trigger, nothing, but a smell of burning electrics. I shouted F***! The bravo lad suddenly turned saw me and ran off, diving into the bushes the other side and dissapearing from view. I then got hosed by the same kid at the top of the road when I had resorted to using my pistol.

I like others have succumbed to a sling failure which resulted in a high speed impact between my gun and concrete. Unfortunately the concrete won and the entire front end of my m4 snapped off.

That was not a good day.

Ok A couple of Stories one a gun malfunction the other a user malfunction.

First Time I took my Star M249 out, moved across an open area firing it pushing the opposing team back felt just like Rambo, people jumping for cover then suddenly the noise of the gun fire changed, i looked bb's just rolled out the end, I thought oh F**K, the opposition realised I was dry firing, they came out of cover and started to pepper I turned and ran like hell.

Now the user malfunction

Me and lucky lefty were playing at our local urban site, we came across a couple of guys hiding behind a rubbish pile, we dispensed of one but the other was really dug in, lefty suggested they we each go round the opposite sides of the rubbish pile and flush him out, so here I am creaping around and then the guy just popped up I hasitly drew my AK74 up to shoot him stummbled back shot the gun missed landed on the floor, then got back up shot the gun and fell back down again rather like a russian dance, lefty was to busy to shoot the guy that was just standing there in obvisouly impressed with my dance moves, in the end the guy just drew his pistol and put me out of my misery. LOL just to note the AK never touched the ground once during my little dance.

Mine was auto fire getting stock 'on', I had to disconect the battery. The wires near the trigger melted and welded together. Not too bad, but a worry at the time!

. :S i couldn't to get it to work and by accident i held spring release lever and while firing it and it worked . so hand a tinker around and got it firing put few mags through it perfect "win win" . anyway my dad said give me a go give me a go and as soon as he pulls the trigger very slowly which i told him not to he broke it . >.< and now after further few hours of problem solving she works not letting him get hold of it now don't you just dislike parents at some times lol

I was playing the other day, saw a guy just out of range, ran halfway down the ridge i was on, linded up to fie, pulled the trigger, 3 bbs fine, and then i just get a wirring as the gears spin, but the piston does not engage. took it apart there and then (ics split gearbox) and find that the part of the piston normally in contact with the gears has just gone.

at gz 09 i thought i had a barrel blockage...so i clipped my famas to my vest with caribinas and drew my mk23 for the rest of the day... got back to the tent and realised i'd turned the hopup too high.. coupled with my new tightbore it caused a block. all i needed to do was turn it down... DOH!

though any excuse to resort to my sidearm is counted as a plus in my book. something about using pistols that adds to the fun.

First game with my A&K M249 i was in the dark at my mates farm and unleash full auto on two people at close range yet to my atonishment they take no hits. After three games of getting no hits i use an AK47 and take my gun apart the next day, the piston ring had gone and after i replace that and test fire the gears turn into a small pile of metal shavings in my hand. Damn!

guess my worst one would have to be a few games ago, bout halfway through the day my LR stopped working, with a lil smoke coming out the gearbox. gave it to my mate whos abit of a techie and later that evening received a call from him to which he told me what the problem was... the entire trigger switch had melted all over the inside of the gearbox lol. he said, and i quote "only reason i can tell its the trigger switch is because there are wires poking out the plastic..." lol

The malfunction moment for me was this. I was lying in a bush with my old M4 CQB awaiting a patrol of peeps to pass by so I could tap them all in the back and leg it, but as I pulled the trigger it made a slightly less then gracefully "WHIRRRRRR-THUNK" and I got laced by the entire group.

After taking it back home, I found it had stripped all the gears and the tappet plate was bin fodder. Though I have had the times when my batteries have died on me and there is someone in plane sight and it is simply "D: NOOOOO!".

my worst malfunction was also my luckest moment
i had my L96 and i made a run up to a set of barrels inthe middle of the sirmish feild and i got onto one knee. I looked into my scope saw an enamy and i cocked my gun but the bolt would not go back inorder for me to fire. Lucky i had my hex keys in my webbing so i sat down and did a full field strip of my sniper whilst having pellits wizzing over my head from both sides. It took me the best side of about 15 mins only to find a BB had chipped and was stopping the bolt from fully clossing as soon as it was cleared i got up and took out 3 people then the game ended.

good times
