Hey, new Aussie to shoot at!

I am new to airsoft as it is illegal in Australia. I arrived here in December and I have played a couple of skirmishes around the South East. It is great. I will be getting an M4 asap. What is a good pistol? Glock?

ANyway, I am ex Aust military and it would be good to become part of a team that has a few other ex or current military types. I miss the tactics and it would be great to start practicing contacts again in a team. Any out there?

Hi mate welcome to the forum, Did you know about airsoft before coming over here?

Yes, I had seen it on you tube and alot of the guys I served with in Australia wanted to do it but we could never get permission only paintball. Need to get another skirmish in to be able to get my membership happening and get an arsenal built up.

Pretty spread out as well so generally find a member skirmishing by you! Think Butters may be in you area! (If you don't mind ex Navy types!)

You should look up a site called GASS (global airsoft skirmish site)
Based in high wycome (and a few other sites in bucks) so local to you and run by brit forces members.
Good bunch of people so you'd be made very welcome.
It's where I play and oddly enough I'm normally found pretending to be an aussie in my lovely auscam loadout so will welcome a proper aussie player.

Hey Nick, which service was you in during your time in the Aussie military?
Air Force/Army/Navy. How long did you serve?
I applied to transfer to the Aussie military but they closed their recruitment to outsiders a week after.
Sad times!

That's a shame about the transfer. I met a few transfers in the Navy. I was actually in all three, but my Army time was reserve infantry in Townsville. I did 7 years all up.
